What is a Rich Internet Application? A Rich Internet Application (RIA) is a web application that can be used for content delivery and can take on any shape or form, or it can be an application that has many of the characteristics of a typical desktop application. Usually RIA's are delivered by a browser via plugins such as Adobe Flash, Java, and Microsoft Silverlight.
How will this work for me? Here are a couple of real-world examples of how RIA's can be useful to your business or your website:
Example 1
Looking at your company data can be a very daunting process, especially if there is no easy way of looking at it. We can provide you a nice clean look at your data in a dashboard format that will allow you to see it in realtime, sortable, easy to use. By using RIA's, we can provide you with the most cost effective tools to do these types of things.
Example 2
Engaging your website visitors can be a challenge. Give your customers a widget they can download from your website that will sit on their PC desktop and calls out to the Internet to feed the user with pertinent data they would otherwise have to visit your website and search to find.
What is "Media Content"? This can be video, audio, pictures, graphics, anything you can think of that provides content outside of plain text. The possibilities are endless, and we are here to help you make decisions on what works best for you and your business or website.
